I'm aware that in the case of a hung parliament that David Cameron will have the first rights to form a coalition.

I thought if he could not do this in... 2 weeks? Ed Milliband would have the chance to form a coalition.

However if David Cameron can not get a majority from LD, UKIP etc and Labour does not form a coalition with the SNP etc what happens?

Is the minority government just forced to be formed by the minority government with the most seats? or I've read about the vote of confidence... I'm not sure who would have the advantage in this scenario...

Thanks for any help! Just a bit confused!

I thought that the party with most seats had the first chance to form a minority government, not necessarily Cameron.

IF NO COALITION IS FORMED IN THAT CASE ANOTHER ELECTION HAS TO BE HELD!

A minority government can rule though.
