What would the U.S Government Have To Gain By Causing 9/11?

I see alot of people saying that 9/11 was staged by the U.S Government but what the hell could the U.S possibly have to gain by causing it? It just makes me angry and upset to see people think that the U.S could have done this to its own people. I have felt the pain my aunts fiance was a fireman who died on 9/11 and one of my old middle school teachers husband died in 9/11. WHAT COULD THE US POSSIBLY BENEFIT FROM 9/11!

They are the people who want to lay blame on others and start rumors like this to lead people away from the truth and The US never did this and never would, and anyone who believes that the US could ever benefit from an attack on ourselves is obviously a simplton, with no brains.

Almost nothing. The usual motive given is to justify wars in the Middle East but this is total nonsense. We didn't need anything like 9/11 to justify going into the ME and the risks of being caught would be far too great.



Remember Watergate? About 10 people knew about that, most of them trained to keep secrets and all highly loyal to the administration. Yet that whole thing fell apart in a matter of weeks. There isn't a single "inside job" 9/11 conspiracy theory I have encountered that would not have required the involvement of THOUSANDS of people, yet not a single person with a guilty conscience has stepped forward? Not one person has spilled the beans for a lucrative TV/book/movie deal?

What happened after 9/11? The War on Terror started. This has put us in Iraq and Afghanistan for longer than we were fighting World War Two. Defense spending went up considerably. Defense Contractors are making no end of money from us being in these countries. It also gave the oil companies access to Iraqi oil fields. The Patriot Act was became law. The Department of Homeland Security was formed. And the TSA was formed. 9/11 allowed the government to get much bigger.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories out there and who knows if they are true. Unfortunately the government doesn't really care too much about the people when it comes to getting what they want from other countries and according to some theories the US caused this because of $ and greed. Trust me this is nothing compare to some other countries history on the government getting their way at any cost. I'm sorry about your loss but remember governments are made up by people and people are not perfect.

Oil in Afghanistan. Oil is today most valuable currency, and if you have oil under your thumb, you can control global interests with no problem.
