After watching the Rally for the Republic and hearing Ron Paul speak I was inspired with hope for the nation. I want renewed liberty and freedom as the founders of this nation intended. Is Ron Paul leading a lasting Revolution? I know the followers will last, but do others care about these principles and get onboard and not settle for big brother ruining the nation?

(Please focus on the questions and don't simply boost your candidate)

Ron Paul has sought to bring Libertarian ideals to the Republican platform. These include what had been traditional Republican ideals like smaller government and less government intrusion into private lives. His "revolution" does expose empty Republican rhetoric about values they no longer embrace. But I don't think it will outlast Ron Paul's involvement.

Ron Paul did an injustice to himself by running on the republican ticket.

I know it's next to impossible for a third party to get in the real debates but Perot did it (I voted for him). When he lost the nomination he could have tried to get the libertarian but Barr got that. I think Paul should have gotten together with Barr and teamed up they may have gotten 8-10 % they wouldn't have made the debates but they would have made a statement. That statement could have kept the idea alive and consolidated. When Perot had the chance to propagate the party he created he was too self-important to give the nod to a new torch to keep it fresh. In '96 he killed the party he started 5 years before. Ego is what keeps these type of movements from moving forward. Until these Leaders are willing to put ideals before individuals we are going to have a problem.

Of course we also need the other two parties to nominate very unpopular candidates that aren't viewed by the opposition as dangerous.

YES! Ron Paul is simply the messenger. The message is one that millions have been waiting to hear. We're sick of the confusion and lies. If Ron Paul dropped off the face of the earth, the revolution would be continued by those who have finally been handed the absolute truth. Now that we have finally seen through the fog of deception put out by self-serviing politicians and media, we can go forward with or without Ron Paul. The truth will make us free!

Thank you, Ron.

the Presidential election will change the political landscape, whoever sweeps into office, which ever candidate. Ron Paul's revolution can continue underground for awhile, don't know if it will fizzle out, depends on the supporters and Paul himself, but already his campaign has outlived all of the other presidential candidates that didn't get nominated and has transformed from a presidential campaign into a grassroots movement and network, maybe a third party is in order?

Well, that is up to us, isn't it? It is all about spreading the message. Montana and Louisiana have put him on their ballot since the rally (those states don't require candidate consent.) There is a press release due for Monday. I don't know about the 2008 election in my state, but I plan to put in the work for the Campaign for Liberty here. His recent statements are that his campaign wasn't worthless, that he made a contribution by bringing issues out in the open.

That's all 3rd party candidates can ever do in the US. There can be hope, but no revolution. It's the way our country is formed and operates.

Ron Paul is a fart in the air conditioning, just a distraction from serious candidates. Voting for Ron Paul is voting for nothing. All he has is a rabid but unimportant and tiny following.

It would be a blessing for all. We need a third party to keep the other two in check. Right now I support Obama since only he can make a difference.

if you want to know how long Paul's Revolution will probably last, google 'Ross Perot' .
