Will TEXAS declare its independence from the USA if OBAMA is elected?

Will TEXAS declare its independence from the USA if OBAMA is elected? This is an email rumour going around and all we could find was this document:

Yet apparently there is a website setup in TEXAS to the effect. Does anybody know anything about it? Is that something real and possible?

Hahaha, brilliant! I love your sense of humor. Many times right on this board I've seen cons say Obama is like Bush. I've also seen many people say Repubs and Dems are the same (nothing could be farther from the truth, but we need to get big money out of politics to see more difference). ##

Talks are sprouting about this in Texas but its not about Obama, its because Texas would be better off economically if it was independent.

I haven't heard of it but I must say, it sounds quite inviting to me since our defunct president LIVES IN TEXAS.....no hearing or seeing him ever again sounds like a good thing to me....and look at the money we will save since we will not have to provide secret service for him if Texas cessates from the US. Win...win for me.
