On April 24, 2007, U.S. House Representative Dennis Kucinich introduced H.Res. 333, calling for articles of impeachment to be sent to the U.S Senate with regards to Vice President Richard B. Cheney.
The grounds of the proposed impeachment are that the Vice President 1) fabricated a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, 2) purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States about an alleged relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda, and 3) has threatened aggression against the Republic of Iran absent any real threat to the United States, all in detriment to the national interest of the United States.
What do YOU think?

Wow! 14 out of 435 Congressmen support impeachment, over 200 left to go. Polls mean nothing. 1st - they are easily manipulated. 2nd - they have NO legal standings just a media ploy. If there really was this "supposed evidence" he would be one. Democrats are in control & they would love to embarrass the President with this little event. Try to not believe everything you read or hear. The Internet is a great information medium & an even better misinformation medium.

Fabricated? Manipulated? and threatened? Look everybody! Another Lib twisting the facts around to support the kook left. There are NO grounds for impeachment of either Vice President Cheney, or President Bush.......take a look below to see what I'm talking about. How did President Bush "mislead" all these people and their statements long before he was ELECTED to office in 2000?

Why is it the the Dems/Libs won't explain these statements by their "sweethearts"?

With the Dems in control if they had a case rest assure they would have.

Obvious they don't have the goods on him so people need to focus on more important issues, the Congress has dropped it, so should you.

08 is right around the corner you will have your vote to change the regime.

I think it's time to put these impeachment questions to rest. It is never going to happen. No laws have been broken. It took a vote to got o war and it was passed by Democrats and Republicans. Right or wrong, that's what happened. I don't take much stock in anything Dennis Kucinich has to say. He is in his own little fantasy world.

I think that if they have proof that he has done something that he should be impeached about, then he should be impeached.

However, if they don't, and it doesn't come to pass, I think the public should keep track of those who tried to pull it and never vote for those individual politicians again, ever.

What more seditious way to disrupt our government than to impeach the Vice-President when you know you have no cause to, just rumor and innuendo.

I think Bush and Cheney are the perfect representatives of your typical American's ignorance, laziness, greed and bloodlust. If it weren't the case, these clowns would have been voted out in the 2000 election. Clearly, the majority of Americans wanted what these snake oil salesmen were peddling. So, no. I don't think Cheney should be impeached. I think America should be impeached.

I know Cheney is a sad excuse for a human being and he will haver to live with that.

Yes, and then they should all be imprisoned for all the laws they have broken since being in office.

He'd be out of office before it would get anywhere. Let it go, morons. Even if he did do it. Stop coming up with ways to waste my god-d@mn money. You must be a democrat.
