Are Americans complacent with our way of Government?

Americans are gullible and easily manipulated by all forms of Goverment. You believe what they want you to believe, regardsless of which side you choose.

I believe at least 99% of Congress is corrupt, 99% of our Senators are corrupt. With the current Dem/Rep parties main-streaming their agendas - it's clear they are corrupt.

What's a person to do when he hears the guy next door stay "he's the lessor of the greater evil" ? Again "Complacent"

When someone stands against our way of Government - kill the messenger. Americans love to stand somewhere!

Our Government is filled with money, greed, lawyers, contracts, pensions that work for who? Themselves - who regulated themselves - all paid for by the great American People!

Our Government is full of gonorrhea from within. The infection is never treated - only masked by the American people.

Show me a Senator - I'll show you a liar. Show me a Congressman - I'll show you a thief. Show me an American - I See!

Welcome to the world of politics. Where else can a government purchase a screwdriver for $3,459.00. Where else can guilty politicians and businessman be set free, or expect to cash in on a "Get out of Jail Card" Where else is there more concern for cleaning up the rest of the world without tidying up our own streets or slummy neighborhoods.

Whaaa... Have you ever been to a local government meeting. Americans are FAR from complacent about government. I have seen some of the most extreme (non-complacent) behavior happen at these meetings. The system itself has some major issues as ALL governments do. But you will find no complacency here...

There is no perfect government. Utopia only exists in the

mind. Men in government are not all evil. Maybe a few can

be rated as not suitable to be a government official, but many

of them are really qualified to be the representatives of the

people. Without these people handling the reins of government anarchy and chaos will be the order of the day

since there will be no authority to follow.

Hell pretty much every government on this planet is full of corruption, that is how most of these people in politic get to where they are! A vast majority of the people in the US are just plain ignorant to politics and have no clue and no cares about it! As I like to say " Ignorance is not a disease it is an unwillingness to learn!"

Nice points. But their are few in public office that stick to their guns and do what they say. BUSH! even though he's error ed. He's stuck to his word and that's more than I can say for the others.
