is david icke right when he says fascism is returning?

i just watched the latest david icke video and he is warning that fascism isn't coming, it is already here, he says big corporations are getting very powerful and using that power to dictate....corporations like google....and he said there are other reasons why society now and the internet is turning fascist.

what does anyone think about this at this juncture in time?

If everything is fascism, nothing is fascism. But certainly Western govts are getting more & more authoritarian. Icke is probably right assume he is KZ fodder.

Government is all about the facade. A word which you might think has the same root as, "fascism." Thank you for the reference. I never seen a David Icke video before. One might be afraid he is getting carried away. But in a time when Donald Trump, (whom I could never believe that his interests span beyond his corporations,) can be elected president of the United States, One might also like to see someone trying to wake people up. That is people that don't like government facade but are gullible enough to believe the one that has the biggest facade of them all.

Of course David Icke is correct! Capitalism is in the perpetual-recession phase. The only solution to the capitalist perpetual-recession phase is global warfare (wars create a great-deal of work and significantly reduce the number of people seeking that work). Fascism is extremely good at starting wars. Billions of people may die horribly, but the market economy will be regenerated. And, as the conservatives frequently remind us, the market economy is the only society that actually works! All hail the super-rich; at least they will be safe!!

Yes. And if you understand the ideology of Fascism/National Socialism, you would understand the liberals, who claim to be Marxist/Socialists, are closer to the teachings of Mussolini/Hitler than they are to the teachings of Marx/Lenin in their current agenda.

He forgets that employers were more fascist in the past - paying their employees in scrip that could only be spent in the company shop and sacking them if they voted the "wrong" way - which is why Britain got the secret ballot and a law that wages must be paid in cash. Corporations are not the government.
