why is the government always trying to steal?

Why is the government always trying to think up new excuses to steal money off the public ?
They always come up with really lame taxes like sock drying tax or foot step tax the more steps you take the more of the pavement you wear out so you have to pay us more tax money. Why cant they just let us pay a normal rate and stop trying to squeeze more and more out of us every year ?

I'm more inclined to think that citizens are more apt to steal from the government then vice versa, e.g. dodging taxes and getting benefits they aren't entitled to by lying.

The one that pisses me off, is the people that are on welfare. They go down to the welfare department..."I'm knocked up, and put their hand out"...have the baby, then again in a year..."I'm knocked up, how much more money do I get?" I don't want to work to pay for this baby I made, so where's my money. The only people that will be offended by this and respond, is the ones that has made a CAREER off the TAX PAYERS. I am not talking about those that recently lost their JOB, I am talking about the ones that has been on welfare and telling the state for 5+ years..."Well I have been looking for a job"

Someone (thats you & me) has to pay for their lavish , unproductive lifestyles, and those of all their crony friends and colleagues they appoint anx award government contracts to.



Being in Government is a 4 year shot at ideology on a free meal ticket, and if youre lucky you can so rig the system while youre there to get another 4 years.

Taxes are NOT theft. As anyone who has any brain at all realizes, governments need to collect taxes in order to provide essential services.



There has never been either of those taxes. Whoever told you there are, is a completely brain-dead vegetable.

Because it doesn't produce anything of its own. Same reason my lazy-ass next door neighbor is on welfare.
